The BMW 5 series is an executive car, the first generation of which was released in 1972 when BMW started manufacturing this car. The first generation was followed by 6 generations, with the 7th introduced in 2022. The BMW 5 series 2023 is part of its 7th generation that comes in 6 trims: 520i sedan, 530i sedan, 530i xDrive sedan, 540i sedan, 540i xDrive sedan, and M550i XDrive which are available with Luxury line and M sport package. The trims are powered either by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, a 3.0L turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, and a 4.4L twin-turbo V8.
