The New Additions
The G-Class's design still honors the tradition of being a representation of exceptional off-road capability. The upgraded version of the G-class for the 2025 model has a slightly upgraded grille, vents, and bumpers. The visual twerks are less likely to be noticeable. However, the car has mechanical updates that makes it offer a much way better performance off-road that it already has.
New additions include windscreen pillar cladding, a rear spoiler lip, redesigned 18 to 20-inch wheels, and new insulation materials to enhance aerodynamics and reduce road noise.
The car’s price consists of 6 digits, as you know, because it’s a luxurious SUV with outstanding off-road performance. Mercedes has decided to stick back to the original purpose of making the G-Class, which was definitely not targeting rich people who want to brag about owning a huge vehicle.
Optional Packages
The vehicle is highly customizable, and for the facelift version, even more colors were added to the collection. Also, there are many optional packages that you can benefit from. An optional package includes the AMG Off-Road Package Pro, featuring an advanced semi-active suspension system inspired by AMG sports cars, and it eliminates traditional anti-roll bars and incorporates hydraulics that adjust the compression and rebound settings for each wheel's damper.
It supports the vehicle's body during cornering to minimize body roll, stabilize it over bumps for enhanced comfort, and increase wheel-axle articulation when off-road.
The updated G-Class retains the core features of its predecessor, such as three differential locks, low-range gearing, independent front and solid rear axles, 241mm of ground clearance, a 700mm wading depth, and approach and departure angles of 31 and 30 degrees, respectively.
For the 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class facelift, customers can select from packages like the Professional Line, the Exclusive Line, the AMG Line, and the Night Package with a blacked-out aesthetic.
