Maserati Ghibli 2021 Review and Prices in UAE

The Maserati Ghibli is the name of three different cars produced by the Italian car company Maserati: the AM115, a V8 Grand Tourer produced from 1967 to 1973, and the AM336, a coupe with a twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine produced from 1992 to 1998; and the M157, which is a luxury mid-size sedan concerned in this review, which has been in production since 2013, and received a Face Lift in 2020 that presented the hybrid version.

      Maserati Ghibli Exterior

In terms of exterior design, the Ghibli is distinguished by a new front grille that includes several vertical lines resembling tuning forks, and updated headlights, while the general sporty and aggressive character of the car prevails in all respects.

There is a new blue color dedicated to making Maserati Hybrid models easily recognizable, featuring the iconic side vents and brake discs, with the color integrated into the cabin seats, in addition to the new design of the taillights resembling a boomerang.

      Maserati Ghibli Interior

The luxury cabin of the 2021 Maserati Ghibli features a high-quality digital instrument panel, black door panels with carbon fiber trim also present in the center armrest, as well as a black leather sports steering wheel and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

      Maserati Ghibli Technology and Infotainment

Maserati Connect allows the continuous exchange of information between the driver and the vehicle, in addition to obtaining various updates of the vehicle's systems continuously. The infotainment system has received the Maserati Intelligent Multimedia Assistant system with new high-resolution visual effects that work across the 8.4-inch screen along with a new instrument screen with newer and more impressive visual effects.

      Maserati Ghibli Engines Specs

The Ghibli comes with three engine options: a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder hybrid engine that produces 330 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. A 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged petrol engine produces 350 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Both engines are geared to a standard rear-wheel drive system.

The third engine comes with all-wheel drive, a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, producing 430 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque. All engines come with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Maserati Ghibli Safety and Driver Assistance Systems

The Ghibli features advanced driver assistance systems including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go Resume, Lane Keeping Assist, Rear or Surround View Camera, Highway Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Pre-Collision Warning Plus, Hills Descent Control. Although some cabin features come as an option.

Why Should You Buy a Maserati Ghibli?

The car is distinguished by its unique Italian style in addition to the agile maneuvering capabilities that make it a pleasure to drive, along with the supportive and comfortable front seats.

      Maserati Ghibli Prices

      • Maserati Ghibli Standard starts at $91,800
      • Maserati Ghibli Half Full (S) starts at $102,700
      • Maserati Ghibli Full (SQ4) starts at $105,500
      • Maserati Ghibli Hybrid starts at $76,000

Maserati Ghibli 2021 vs Maserati Ghibli 2020

There were no major updates between the 2021 model and the 2020 model, except for improvements to the front and rear fascias and the infotainment system.

Maserati Ghibli Comparison in Trims and Models

The wheel rims come in different sizes, from 18 to 20 inches, and the headlights are xenon in all models except for the standard Ghibli where they are LED.

Of course, the powertrain differs from gasoline, hybrid, rear or all-wheel drive, and three engine options previously mentioned.

The quality of the interior materials also varies, the hybrid version does not come with a driver seat memory system unlike other models, and the audio system comes as standard with either 8 or 10 speakers.

      Maserati Ghibli Pros and Cons

The automobile has a distinct Italian design, fast handling, and comfy front seats. Seating in the rear seats, on the other hand, is a little tight, and the interior touches are lacking in refinement and precision when compared to the competition.
